Walk The Long Walls Athens

Ways of Access

The walking route suggested by the Walk the Long Walls web application is approximately 7 kilometers long and is divided into four distinct sections: Athens, Tavros, Moschato and Piraeus. Each section includes a “memory pocket” featuring an independent route.

The Athinon-Peiraios Avenue is a major central road that experiences heavy traffic daily, making it necessary to exercise caution while walking along it. We recommend using public transportation for safe and convenient access between different sections of the route. The ISAP line connects all the “memory pockets”, enabling users to quickly and safely access every area of the route.
